More Like It!
Wow! Today was gorgeous. It reached nearly 80 degrees. We spent a great deal of the day at the pool.
Larry and Joanne left early to drive over to Apache Junction where his sister and her husband are wintering. They planned on riding the motorcycles around a bit....and a lovely day for that!
Mom's 80th birthday was Thursday so it was a very busy day! She had a great turnout, lovely weather and a fun time. Then....since we had tables and chairs borrowed from all over, the street had decided to have their "street party" in Mom and Dad's carport on Friday. Noon on Friday found us all eating catered Chinese! I forgot to add that on Thursday EVENING we went to a banquet in the auditorium/ballroom, honoring all of the volunteer ministers who have preached here over the years.
I feel like Templeton the Rat, in the movie/book "Charlotte's Web". I can even hear him singing "Food, Glorious Food" in my mind. We will need to start a STARVATION diet when we return to Louisiana! If feels like one of the major pass-times in this park (eating). In fact, as we speak, some people across the street are hosting a "state pot luck" in their carport!

Ronnie looks like a "movie star". LOL Glad to see the weather cooperating with ya'll. Your mom and dad look real good too. We are going to Destin for Easter. Hope to see ya'll before we leave. When exactly are you coming home? We've been busy. Laura is settling in and things are looking up. I'll talk to you soon. Love, Pam
