Middle March

Time "Marches" on......

Tomorrow we are taking the camper to Natchez and staying in a state park there that we love.

The last couple of days have been gloomy and wet, but we've had several days in the past week that were high 70's to mid 80's.

Ron was very excited to see the return of the martins!

The azalea's have hit their peak here in Zachary. We have been addressing our flower beds and planters as well as cleaning up the yard.
Do you like the flowers in my window box?
.

Emmie has been here more than once in the last several days and, although I haven't painted much on the dining room cabinets, we have enjoyed her "help". She even decided to wash her own car when Grandpa was washing the camper and his truck!!

Ron had made a little day bed for Ashlyn, which she "outgrew" so we took it over to Emmie. She is very proud of her "big girl bed". Christie has put off potty training until recently, but it went amazingly fast once she started, so our family's "baby" is a baby no longer, but now a big girl...rid of her diapers/pull-ups and her crib all in the same week!

Next week I will have some pictures of our time in Natchez (weather permitting) and even some fish (the real reason we are going!)

Happy St. Paddy's Day!
